Welcome to Jupiter, Jupiter Island, and Palm Beach Gardens

A quiet, nautical haven along Florida’s Treasure Coast
Located along Florida’s Treasure Coast, Jupiter, Jupiter Island, and Palm Beach Gardens are home to seaside nautical fun 365 days a year. Towering palm trees, sandy beaches, an abundance of parks, preserves, and trails, and world-renowned golf clubs are just a few things that make this coastal paradise so special. Peaceful seclusion away from some of southern Florida‘s busier sites has awarded residents with quiet beach piers, uninterrupted fishing opportunities, and coastal real estate sheltered away from prying eyes.
The iconic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse was completed in 1868 and is still used as a symbol for the community of Jupiter and Jupiter Island. Today, Palm Beach Gardens is home to a high number of golf courses and professional golf players, excellent educational opportunities for children, and several festivals and parades celebrating the history and natural beauty of this tranquil stretch of Floridian shoreline.

Local Lifestyle

Named as one of America’s happiest seaside towns by Coastal Living, Jupiter residents enjoy a slower pace of life, worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Heavenly beaches and parks offer beautiful views, trails, sporting fields and courts, and opportunities to observe native wildlife. One of the most excellent fishing spots in the nation features a variety of species to be caught both closer to and further from shore. A bit more island, airy outdoor communal centers featuring shopping, alfresco dining, and community events are perfect places to spend relaxing afternoons.

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

In Palm Beach Gardens, The Gardens Mall is a large shopping center with over 160 shops and restaurants. Some nationally recognized brands include Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Apple, and Tiffany. Just next door, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is an open-air shopping facility featuring several more local businesses, eateries, and a conveniently located Whole Foods Market.
The neighboring communities of Jupiter and Jupiter Island also boast ample opportunities to gather and shop till you drop in Downtown Abacoa. In addition to shopping and dining, several events are held throughout the year such as live music, trivia nights, and a farmers’ market, to name a few.
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse was completed in 1868 and offers tours through the lighthouse and adjacent museum. The 105-step climb to the top of the lighthouse rewards visitors with panoramic views of nearby waterways and the endless blue of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Juno Beach Pier, one of the locals’ favorite gathering spots, features nearly 1,000 feet of saltwater fishing and scenic strolling opportunities. Nearby fishing gear rentals, angling lessons, and concessions make the Juno Beach Pier one of the area's most cherished gems.

Things To Do

Throughout the year, the communities of Jupiter, Jupiter Island, and Palm Beach Gardens host an array of festive events for the whole family. Each holiday season, locals look forward to observing the Jupiter Holiday Boat Parade. With several viewing spots throughout town, the parade begins in North Palm Beach and finishes just south of Juniper Beach. Taking place just before the holiday season, the Feast of Little Italy has been one of the community's most highly anticipated events for two decades. Live cooking demonstrations, games, and fabulous Italian cuisine come together on this three-night event in celebration of the rich Italian culture. More quiet afternoons are enjoyed at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The largest state park in southeast Florida spans across 10,500 acres of untouched swampland, flatwoods, and rugged greenery. Camping, canoeing, and kayaking are a few of the site’s most popular activities.

Locals cherish community schools and how well-prepared their children are for life after graduation. One terrific campus is:
  • The Benjamin School, 3 years-12th grade; the premier school of North Palm Beach has won many “best of” awards from Niche ranking it as one of the best within Miami, the state of Florida, and in the nation
