Consider the following communities when searching for Palm Beach County homes for sale:

Wycliffe Golf & Country Club

Wycliffe Golf & Country Club in Wellington is one of the finest examples of the Palm Beach County golf lifestyle. The fairways intersperse 14 neighborhoods and two courses. Many of the homes in these developments feature a cart garage so that residents can drive straight to the courses. The two courses were designed by award-winning architects John Sanford and Karl Litten, standing out due to their cooperation with the natural landscape. The majestic clubhouse rises just beyond the closing holes.

BallenIsles Country Club

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens is one of the most renowned golf clubs in the state. It was initially built as the home of the Professional Golfers’ Association and was the longtime home of the tour’s Qualifying School. It has played host to many tournaments, including the PGA Championship and the Senior Championship. Members have a choice of playing any of the three courses. Homebuyers can look at homes in several neighborhoods with many centrally located amenities. Among them are a new sports complex and tennis center for members.

Banyan Cay Resort and Golf

The golf course at Banyan Cay was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and tradition ends there as far as this club is concerned. Less a country club than an upscale resort-slash-playground, Banyan Cay supplements the signature Nicklaus course, which takes up a little more than half of the resort’s 250 acres, with a clubhouse and resort dining; an extra-large spa and fitness center; tennis pavilion; pool; and meeting rooms. The onsite hotel is open to all comers.

Bear Lakes Country Club

Another Jack Nicklaus specialty, the Links Course at Bear Lakes Country Club draws inspiration from old seaside Scottish links courses. Its five separate tees accommodate players of most skill levels, while none of the many lakes are a bridge too far. The neighborly environment is ideal for anyone looking for comfort and relaxation in their country club of choice.

The Club at Admirals Cove

Another well-rounded South Florida coterie, The Club at Admirals Cove wants you to take part in every activity, including golf. The 45 total holes at this resort put together scenic waterways and noteworthy views. Most of the course is concentrated in the west side of the country club, which is situated on tropical land formerly owned by billionaire philanthropist John D. MacArthur. In keeping with its name, the larger club also maintains a casual yacht club with events like day cruises and overnighters.

The Club at Quail Ridge

The Club at Quail Ridge is a member-owned club in Boynton Beach that offers two championship golf courses surrounded by nearly 1,000 homes in a master-planned development. There are many developments at Quail Ridge, each with a swimming pool and community hangout. There are many other amenities, including tennis and fine dining.

The Club at Ibis

The Club at Ibis offers West Palm Beach luxury condos for sale in a golf course community made famous by three courses designed by the Nicklaus family. The Golden Bear himself designed the Legend, Steve Nicklaus designed The Tradition, and Jack Nicklaus II laid out The Heritage. Members live in more than 1,800 homes along quiet streets in 33 different developments. Besides golf, residents enjoy nature trails, lakes, and plenty of other open spaces.

Frenchmans Creek

Less than five minutes from both I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike, Frenchmans Creek is foremost a beach club. The oceanside staff consistently provides lounge chairs and umbrellas, cabanas, and restaurant service. Its terrestrial offerings include a spa, fitness center, tennis courts, and two links: the North and South Golf Courses. Golfers here enjoy the views, creeks, lakes, landscaping, and wildlife on display.

The Country Club at Mirasol

The County Club at Mirasol is a residential golf community conveniently located in Palm Beach Gardens. It has nearly two dozen incredible neighborhoods surrounding two championship golf courses that Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills designed. Residents of Mirasol luxury homes have access to a wide range of resort-caliber amenities in a stunning clubhouse that houses an aquatic complex, spa, fitness center, tennis center, and sports complex.

Additional Courses

Many other private and public courses make living in Palm Springs County a delight, and most were designed by some of the best golf course architects in the business.

The Champion

PGA National Resort & Spa is one of the most impressive golf complexes globally. The gem of its six courses, The Champion, is nothing less than legendary. The Champion is the host course of the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic. Originally designed by Tom and George Fazio, Jack Nicklaus redesigned the course in 2014. It is more than 7,000 yards and considered one of the more tricky courses on tour.

Medalist Golf Club

This exceptional course and Medalist Village can be found in Hobe Sound, an unincorporated area on Florida’s Treasure Coast just east of Palm Beach County. Considered the home course of both Greg Norman and Tiger Woods, the club also counts among its members several PGA and LPGA Tour players, most of whom use the course as training between tournaments. In addition to the challenging main course, residents and their guests can play the par-3 course Norman-designed, which comprises 12 holes with five pin placements each. The neighborhood is exclusive to 119 residences.

Dye Preserve Golf Club

Situated in Jupiter just north of Palm Beach County, Dye Preserve seamlessly combines different kinds of grass, trees, and tee shots into one of the most demanding courses in the U.S. You will be rewarded here for straight tee shots, whereas missing the fairway usually leads to a chip out or drop. The course is full of tough decisions, and its Pete Dye design is said to eschew the conventions of Florida country clubs.

Emerald Dunes Club

Emerald Dunes describes itself as a “sanctuary for those who cherish the sport and respect the game, in the most natural and peaceful setting.” Completed in 1990 and renovated in 2010, the course presents you with mounding and flash-faced bunkers unique to the topography of this part of Palm Beach. Get an early start to your day at the private club’s world-class practice facility.

North Palm Beach Country Club

The North Palm Beach Country Club Jack Nicklaus Signature Course has the rare distinction of being one of just two municipal courses designed by the Golden Bear. It’s owned by the Village of North Palm Beach and is open to the public. A longtime social centerpiece, the clubhouse was demolished in 2018 and rebuilt to wide acclaim. The course itself features elevation changes rare in South Florida golf courses.

Abacoa Golf Club

The Abacoa Golf Club is another excellent public course and a favorite of those who live in Jupiter beachfront homes. It was one of the last courses designed by the highly regarded Joe Lee and opened in 1969. As is standard for courses in Palm Beach, many holes here play to water hazards, plus raked bunkers and short Bermuda rough.
